A summer in Geneva, a wasp got trapped on my window screen.
I couldn't stop wondering what was going through its mind as it tried to find a way out.

I started recording it,Clearly, it knew where it had been:
it passed over the same lines again and again, precisely.

Before I finally released it from this small prison,

I traced the paths it took, then printed these traced paths onto household objects I made,

because insects are meant to be everywhere—including chez nous.
